🧩 The Brief
Enviroworx Wales wanted to eliminate the need to take a trailer around behind the van when doing multiple site maintenance, getting the large scag mowers into the van would also be far more secure than being on an open trailer, the brief was to build a false floor to carry the mowers and a selection of drawers for chainsaws, tools, fluids ect that they might need over the course of a days work. on the wish list was an electric system to charge batteries for hand held tools and worklights.
🛠 Our Solution
We installed a full Raxx custom fitout using our own branded gear, designed for everyday use and flexibility on-site. Key features include:
- In house fabricated heavy duty steel framework to support a false floor capable of holding the weight needed
- Very durable Phenolic ply used throughout
- 3 Large underfloor drawers with 120kg capacity runners and locking catches
- Underfloor storage for less used items, making use of the space
- High level shelving to house the battery chargers, safety gear and clothing
- Leisure battery system with a split charge unit and inverter to provide power to charge batteries and boil a kettle!
- 12v and USB Charging points
- Ramp box to house 8ft ramps with a full width ramp slot to load and unload the mowers
- Wall brackets to hang Brush Cutters
- Lashing points to strap in the kit and fuel cans.
This build combines an organised space for kit and the need for security as well as removing the need to tow a trailer to site
